Petty theft is punishable by a fine of up to one-thousand dollars ($1,000.00) and up to six months in the county jail. Gary Beytin is scheduled to appear in court on November 26, 2002 at 9:00 a.m. Anyone with a similar complaint or other information about Dr. Beytin is encouraged to call San Jose Police Department Detective Leonard Lim in the Fraud Division at (408) 277-4521. ###
