​Consumers should beware of Notarios who promise legal immigration assistance for high fees and guarantees. Notarios are not lawyers or business people trained to handle immigration matters.  Consider using an attorney, a bonded immigration consultant , or a non-profit organization  that offers free or low cost legal immigration services.

 Consumers should also be careful using a lawyer who makes promises or guarantees and accepts money without providing a written contract.

Los consumidores deben cuidarse de Notarios que prometen asistencia de inmigración legal a altos costos y garantías. Notarios no son abogados  o gente de negocios entrenados a manejar los asuntos de inmigración.  Considere el uso de un abogado, un consultor en inmigración de servidumbre, o una organización sin fines de lucro que ofrece servicios de inmigración legal gratis o a bajo costo. 

 Los consumidores también deben tener cuidado en usar a un abogado que hace promesas o garantías y acepta dinero sin ofrecer un contrato por escrito.
