(408) 792-2826 DA'S "JUSTICE FOR ALL" POSTER CONTEST: THE DANGERS OF SOCIAL MEDIA The Santa Clara County District Attorney's Office is inviting all local high school students to enter a poster contest to raise awareness about the dangers of social media. First prize in the annual contest has been raised to $1,000, with the winning poster to be prominently used in the District Attorney's awareness campaigns. The second place winner will receive $500, and the third place winner will receive $300. "Social media has revolutionized the way the world communicates," District Attorney Jeff Rosen said. “But it’s not all hearts and LOLs. Predators and cyberbullies text and email. You can get defrauded by a “friend” on Facebook. Con artists use Craigslist. Let’s all use social media responsibly and watch out for each other.”
Entries must be submitted to the District Attorney's Office by Friday, May 6, 2016. Winners will be announced on the District Attorney’s website and Facebook page, Friday, May 27, 2016. All submissions will be displayed at an upcoming "Justice for All" Art Show at the County of Santa Clara Government Center's breezeway located at 70 West Hedding Street in San Jose. The art show will be open to the public.

DA'S CONCURSO DE CARTELES "JUSTICIA PARA TODOS:" LOS PELIGROS DE LAS REDES SOCIALES
La Fiscalía del Condado de Santa Clara està invitando a todos los estudiantes de la secundaria local para entrar en un concurso de carteles para concienciar sobre los peligros de las redes sociales. Primer premio en el concurso anual se ha elevado a $1,000, con el cartel ganador utilizado prominente en campañas de sensibilización de la Procuraduría. El ganador del segundo lugar recibirà $500, y el tercer ganador recibirà $300. "Las redes sociales han revolucionado la manera que el mundo se comunica", dijo el Fiscal Jeff Rosen. "Pero no es todos corazones y LOLs. Depredadores y ciberacosos de texto y correo electrónico. Usted puede ser defraudado por un "amigo" en Facebook. Los estafadores utilizan Craigslist. Vayamos pues todos a usar las redes sociales responsablemente y cuidar el uno al otro. Las entradas deben presentarse a la Fiscalía del Condado de Santa Clara para el viernes, 06 de Mayo de 2016. Los ganadores se anunciaran en la pàgina web de la Procuraduría y la pàgina de Facebook, el Viernes 27 de Mayo, 2016. Todas las presentaciones se mostraran en la próxima Muestra de Arte “Justicia Para Todos” en el pasillo del Centro de Gobierno del Condado De Santa Clara localizado en la Calle Hedding Oeste, en San Jose.
