(408) 792-2855   Replacing Retirees and Staffing Courtrooms, Santa Clara County District Attorney’s Office Hires 15 New Lawyers   Fifteen new prosecutors began work this week for the Santa Clara County District Attorney’s Office, the largest one-time influx of lawyers to be hired at the Office in recent history.   District Attorney Jeff Rosen said of the new prosecutors: “We are looking for lawyers who can fulfill our commitment to service, hard work and integrity and serve this county well for years to come. We found them. These are talented people whose skills and energy bodes well for the future of this office, and the residents of this county.”   Rosen acknowledged the County Board of Supervisors in helping the Office hire the much-needed new wave of prosecutors, which he said will help the Office serve its public safety mission.     The prosecutors are highly educated and come from a wide variety of personal and professional backgrounds. Some are former private attorneys who came from prestigious civil law firms and federal clerkships. Some worked as prosecutors in other California counties. There is a decorated former U.S. Marine and a former probation officer. Several are conversant in foreign languages, including Armenian, German, Mandarin, Spanish and Vietnamese.   The new deputy district attorneys are: Alisha Beltramo, Brandon Cabrera, Barbara Cathcart, Cameron Day, Adam Flores, Michael Gadeberg, Tamalca Harris, La Ron Hogg-Haught, Daniel Kassabian, Edward Liang, Quinn Nichols, HaNhi Tran, Bret Wasley, Tyrone Wilson and Carolyn Zabrycki.   ###
