Assistant District Attorney
Santa Clara County District Attorney Jeff Rosen, a top family violence prosecutor, and Domestic Violence advocates on Friday, February 13, 2015 will release two decades of statistical D.V. analysis, focusing on both troubling and hopeful findings.
Some of the findings directly involve the Asian-American community in Santa Clara County. The 10 a.m. public event will be held at Asian Americans for Community Involvement (AACI), at 749 Story Road, Suite 50, in San Jose. The District Attorney invites the media to come and help us spread the word on the impact of this devastating crime, inspire victims and witnesses to report it, and to educate the public about prevention.    The findings will be presented along with the 20th Annual Domestic Violence Death Review Report, which has been publicly released every year by the Santa Clara County Domestic Violence Death Review Committee. Since 1994, the committee has compiled and publicly released its report on these tragic deaths.   Along with the D.A., Assistant District Attorney Cindy Seeley Hendrickson, advocates from AACI, Community Solutions, Conxión to Community, and others are scheduled to speak at the media event.   Copies of the 26-page report will be available for members of the media.
