Spring Session for 2Ls, 3Ls or 4Ls (part-time) (commitment minimum 20 hours a week)

January 10, 2023– April 25, 2023         

Deadlines:

  • Application Deadline: October 30, 2022
  • Interviews: October 4– 12, 2022
  • DA Notification of Candidate’s Acceptance into Program: October 19, 202 Candidate’s Decision to Participate in Program: November 2, 2022

February Post Bar (commitment minimum 40 hours a week)

 March 6, 2023 – May 19, 2023

 Deadlines:

  • Application Deadline: November 30, 2022
  • Interviews: December 5 – December 16, 2022
  • DA Notification of Candidate’s Acceptance into Program: December 21, 202
  •  Candidate’s Decision to Participate in Program: January 4, 2023

 

2L Honors Summer Session (commitment minimum 40 hours a week)

May 30, 2023 – August 4, 2023

Deadlines:

  • Application Deadline: August 30, 2022
  • Interviews: September 12 – 16, 2022
  • DA Notification of Candidate’s Acceptance into Program: September 19, 2022
  • Candidate’s Decision to Participate in Program: September 21, 2022

 

Summer Session for 1Ls only (commitment minimum 40 hours a week)

May 30, 2023 – August 4, 2023

Deadlines:

  • Application Deadline: February 14, 2023
  • Interviews: February 22 - 27, 2023
  • DA Notification of Candidate’s Acceptance into Program: March 1, 2023
  • Candidate’s Decision to Participate in Program: March 15, 2023

 

July Post Bar (commitment minimum 40 hours a week)

September 5, 2023 – November 30, 2023

Deadlines:

  •  Early Admissions Application Deadline: November 16, 2022
  •  Interviews: November 20 – November 30, 2022
  •  DA Notification of Candidate’s Acceptance into Program: December 7, 2022
  • Candidate’s Decision to Participate in Program: December 14, 2022

 

  • Regular Admissions Application Deadline: March 1, 2023
  • Interviews: March 6 – 15, 2023
  • DA Notification of Candidate’s Acceptance into Program: March 22, 2023
  • Candidate’s Decision to Participate in Program: April 4, 2023


NOTE: While each internship has a specific start and end date, we realize that school schedules or other issues might necessitate minor adjustments. With advance notice, our office will do our best to accommodate these requests.

WHEN APPLYING:

Please submit the following documents preferably scanned in one PDF file to [email protected]:

  1. Cover letter stating: a) which law clerk program you are applying for, and b) why you are interested in an internship with our office;
  2. Copy of your resume;
  3. Writing sample;
  4. Proof of graduation from college (a photocopy of your diploma or transcript from an undergraduate institution showing graduation date will suffice);
  5. Proof that you are enrolled in law school and in good standing (a note from the registrar will suffice);
  6. Copy of your law school transcript; and 
  7. A color copy of your driver’s license.


The following needs to be submitted when a position is accepted: 

  • Paid 2L Honors Clerks will need to submit an official employment application through HR. Please contact [email protected] for an application.
