2L Honors Summer Session (commitment minimum 40 hours a week)

May 31, 2022 – August 5, 2022

  • Interviews: September 13 – 17, 2021
  • DA Notification of Candidate’s Acceptance into Program: September 22, 2021
  • Candidate’s Decision to Participate in Program: September 24, 2021

Summer Session for 1Ls only (commitment minimum 40 hours a week)

May 31, 2022 – August 5, 2022

Deadlines:

  • Application Deadline: February 4, 2022
  • Interviews: February 7- 18, 2022
  • DA Notification of Candidate’s Acceptance into Program: March 11, 2022
  • Candidate’s Decision to Participate in Program: March 18, 2022

  • Early Admissions Application Deadline: November 12, 2021
  • Interviews: November 22 – December 3, 2021
  • DA Notification of Candidate’s Acceptance into Program: December 10, 2021
  • Candidate’s Decision to Participate in Program: December 17, 2021 
  • Regular Admissions Application Deadline: March 4, 2022
  • Interviews: March 14– 25, 2021
  • DA Notification of Candidate’s Acceptance into Program: April 1, 2022
  • Candidate’s Decision to Participate in Program: April 8, 2022


NOTE: While each internship has a specific start and end date, we realize that school schedules or other issues might necessitate minor adjustments. With advance notice, our office will do our best to accommodate these requests.

WHEN APPLYING:

Please submit the following documents preferably scanned in one PDF file:

  1. Cover letter stating: a) which law clerk program you are applying for, and b) why you are interested in an internship with our office;
  2. Copy of your resume;
  3. Writing sample;
  4. Proof of graduation from college (a photocopy of your diploma or transcript from an undergraduate institution showing graduation date will suffice);
  5. Proof that you are enrolled in law school and in good standing (a note from the registrar will suffice);
  6. Copy of your law school transcript; and 
  7. A color copy of your driver’s license.


The following additional items need to be submitted when a position is accepted: 

  1. Complete a Personal History Questionnaire (PHQ). Please leave the “Directed to:” line blank.
  2. Paid 2L Honors Clerks will need to submit an official employment application through HR. Please contact [email protected] for an application.
