GEORGE SHIRAKAWA FOR FALSE PERSONATION
On October 24, 2013 the Santa Clara County Criminal Grand Jury indicted George Shirakawa for one felony count of false personation, a violation of Penal Code section 529.
The indictment alleges that the false personation occurred on or about and between May 1, 2010 and June 8, 2010 in the County of Santa Clara when George Shirakawa falsely personated the campaign committee entitled "Neighbors for Magdalena Carrasco for Council 2010, FPPC 134822." George Shirakawa was arraigned on the charge this afternoon.
This indictment supersedes the previously filed criminal complaint which alleges the same criminal conduct.
The next court date in this matter will be December 4, 2013 at 1:30 in department 24.
The District Attorney's Office will offer no further comment regarding the indictment at this time, because the transcript of the Grand Jury proceedings will not, by law, be public until ten days from today.
