Homicide Team
The Homicide Team consists of nine attorneys who handle approximately one-half of the murder cases that occur in Santa Clara County. In addition to the four members of the Homicide Team there are two alternate homicide attorneys who handle murder cases and other violent felonies, primarily sexual assault. Murders that involve domestic violence, criminal street gangs, child or elderly victims are handled by teams in other divisions of the office that specialize in those types of crime.
