(408) 737-1264   For Release on May 22, 2003.   PROTESTER CONVICTED   On May 21, 2003, a Santa Clara County jury found Defendant Mallory Moser guilty of willful and malicious obstruction of a public street in violation of Penal Code section 647c.  Moser was arrested at an Anti-war protest held at the Lockheed Martin Space Systems Facility in Sunnyvale on April 22, 2003.  Moser, and several fellow protesters, locked themselves together arm to arm with PVC piping and laid across several lanes of traffic at one of Lockheed Martin’s main entrances.  Moser faces a maximum sentence of six months in county jail and up to a $1,000 fine.  She remains out of custody pending sentencing which is set on June 4, 2003 at 1:30 p.m. in D82 of the Santa Clara County Court, Sunnyvale Facility, located at 605 W. El Camino Real, Sunnyvale.
