(408) 792-2626 For Release on December 31, 2003 WILLIAM “BILLY” HILL CHARGED WITH VEHICULAR MANSLAUGHTER The Santa Clara County District Attorney’s Office has charged William “Billy” Hill
(DOB 7-2-80) with two counts arising out of the death of Chad Snow on October 5, 2003
in Palo Alto, California. The complaint alleges that Hill drove a Chevrolet Tahoe SUV at
Snow and two others. Hill was charged with the crime of gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated which carries a maximum sentence of ten years. He was also charged with assault by means of force likely to cause great bodily injury for which he faces a maximum sentence of four years. Both crimes are felonies. Hill has been incarcerated in Santa Cruz County on other charges. He will be returned to Santa Clara County for arraignment.
