ABC 7: Suspect arrested for allegedly putting explosive device near SJ councilwoman's home, police say

SAN JOSE, Calif. (KGO) -- San Jose Police arrested a man for allegedly placing a homemade explosive near a councilwoman's home in 2022. Following a months-long investigation, officers say they obtained a warrant and took Andres Navarro into custody on Tuesday. Court documents show Navarro is facing a felony count for possessing a destructive device. On Thursday, the 33-year-old was arraigned in court.
